Bolton band 12heads announce Pre-Christmas gig at the newly refurbished
'Churchgate'
The Churchgate in Bolton will be opening its doors to the public for a
night of alternative music on Friday 17th November.
Bolton band 12heads say they are really looking forward to playing the
newly refurbished pub on Churchgate in Bolton.
The band describes their music as intense psychedelic punk (occasionally
softened with layers of dub) with a powerhouse of driving, catchy
guitar, manic and edgy vocal delivery, dynamic, sonic bass and drums.
Their gig jaunt has spanned the UK, including live performances
alongside Kasabian in 2006 and Sham 69 in 2012. The political track
'Robots', with its anti-capitalist message, was selected as a future
classic and played on Manchester XS.
On the night, the band will be playing a set of original material
including covers by Tubeway Army, Ruts and Hawkwind!
The band is currently in the final stages of mixing their new album,
which will be titled 'Comfort Zones' and will be available in CD and
download format.
The album's ten tracks will take the listener on a journey through
personal dilemmas and political unrest.
